Public Adjusting Services

We represent residential and small commercial property owners in the full range of first-party insurance claims β€” from a single leak to a total loss.

Hail-damaged roof

Storm, Wind & Hail Damage

Georgia's spring and summer storms are responsible for the majority of residential claims we handle. We document hail strikes on shingles, wind-lifted siding, fence and gutter damage, and the resulting interior leaks.

We typically engage with carrier-side roof inspectors directly on the property, eliminating the "we don't see enough damage" back-and-forth that delays repairs for months.

Water-damaged interior

Water & Plumbing Loss

Burst pipes, supply-line failures under sinks, refrigerator hose breaks, slab leaks, and water-heater discharges are some of the most under-paid claims in residential insurance.

We measure moisture in every adjacent wall and floor cavity, document the full scope of demo and reconstruction, and push for proper drying protocol β€” not the bargain version.

Fire-damaged kitchen

Fire & Smoke Damage

Fire claims are complex: structural repair, smoke remediation, contents inventory, and additional living expenses each have their own coverage limits and rules.

We coordinate all four in parallel so your family can return to a properly restored home β€” not one that still smells like smoke six months later.

Roof & Exterior Inspections

Before you file, we'll inspect your roof, gutters, siding, and exterior at no cost and tell you honestly whether you have a claim worth pursuing.

If we don't think a claim will hold up, we'll say so β€” no high-pressure pitch.

Insurance claim form

Denied & Underpaid Claim Review

If your carrier has already denied or low-balled a claim, you typically have a right under the policy to dispute. We review the denial language, the policy, and the file, then prepare a formal supplemental demand.

Many of our largest recoveries are reopens of claims clients had already given up on.

Small Commercial Property Claims

We represent small landlords, restaurants, retail shops, and offices on first-party commercial property claims β€” including business-interruption coverage where applicable.

Our scope and pricing methodology is the same one used by carrier-side commercial adjusters.

Honest about our limits.

Public adjusters represent the policyholder in first-party property claims. To keep that role clean, there are a few things we deliberately don't do.

Not a contractor

We don't perform repairs and we don't refer to a single preferred contractor. You choose the licensed contractor that does the work.

Not a law firm

We don't provide legal advice or represent you in litigation. If your claim escalates to a lawsuit, we work alongside the attorney of your choice.

Not auto or health

We focus exclusively on property and casualty claims. We don't handle auto, health, life, or workers' compensation claims.

Contingency-based β€” you pay nothing up front.

Delaware County Public Adjuster works on a contingency. Our fee is a small, agreed-upon percentage of the insurance proceeds we recover for you. If we don't recover, you don't pay.

The exact percentage is disclosed and signed in writing before any work begins β€” no fine print, no surprise invoices. Our fee structure complies with the limits established by Georgia regulators for public adjuster compensation.

For most residential storm and water claims, the additional settlement amount we negotiate far exceeds our fee β€” which is exactly why a public adjuster makes financial sense for the homeowner.

Insurance claim documentation

Storm, fire, or water damage? Don't file alone.
